Altitudinal Ecosystem is inspired by Crater Lake, and how the tree species change as altitude increases. The quilting design highlights the various mediums of air, rock and water. This quilt was featured as Quilt of the Month by the Modern Quilt Guild in 2015, an exhibition showcase quilt for QuiltCon 2015, published in a modern quilting book “Modern Quilts: Designs of the new Century”, and a semi-finalist in the Wall Quilts Modern Category for AQS Grand Rapids Quilt show 2016.
A quilt sleeve is attached to the back for easy hanging. A label on the back describes the quilt name, artist name and date. Made with high quality cotton and thread. Machine washable in cold with gentle detergent, line dry for best results.
