Fractions is based on my son’s 3rd grade math homework. How would you divide a square to make fractions? In this case, the square is split into 1/8 and 1/16 ‘s.

A modern traditional quilt, using a unique color palette. The quilted lines are separated to reflect two areas of the design the center and then the outer triangles.  The lines extending from the outer triangles to the edge are quilted in the color of that triangle of origin.  The overall design incorporates the border area and the binding.
