Negative Crosswalks

NegativeCrosswalks

Inspired by the pedestrian crossing at work that was walked over every day, and the inverse colors seen in a photo negative. Negative Crosswalks explores minimalism. Negative Crosswalks features in the popular UK magazine, Love Patchwork and Quilting (2015), a exhibition quilt in the Modern Quilt Showcase, Houston Quilt Market and accepted in the minimal quilt category at QuiltCon 2017. The 1/2 ” straight line and matchstick quilting (on the stripes) adds great texture without detracting from the design. The special addition of the matched block binding continues the lines to the edge of the quilt.

A hanging sleeve makes the quilt easy to hang. The label on the back includes information of the Artist name, quilt name, and date.  The quilt is made with high-quality cotton and thread. Machine washable in cold water with gentle detergent, line dry for best results.
