Rails is inspired by the aerial view of the Neustheim Train Junction, Mannheim, Germany. The amazing curvature and movement was achieved using improvisation strip piecing. Exquisite solid fabrics and injections of prints produce this bright color palette in this unique piece. Rails has been featured by RJR Fabrics “What shade are you” blog hop, published in a modern quilting book “Modern Quilts: Designs of the new Century”, an exhibition quilt in the Modern Quilt Showcase at Houston Quilt Market, and accepted in Improvisation Quilt Category in QuiltCon 2017.

A label added to the back to include quilt name, artist name, and date. Made with high quality cotton and thread. Machine washable with cold water in gentle detergent. line dry for best results.
