Two hours of play each Sunday, over 10 weeks, resulted in this improvisation modern quilt. Sunday best plays with lines and shapes to produce this unique composition. Black and white were introduced while reflecting on my mother’s terminal illness on mother’s day. Various straight line quilting techniques provides the design a complementary texture. Sunday Best featured in QuiltCon Magazine (2017), accepted in Improvisation Quilt Category in QuiltCon 2017, and a semi-finalist for Wall Quilts – Stationary Machine Quilted at AQS Grand Rapids 2017.
Made with high quality cotton and thread. Machine washable in cold water with gentle detergent, line dry for best results.
